2nd Tapal Family Mixture
Makran Football Championship Kicks Off
Karachi - November 17, 2008 - Tapal Tea (Pvt.) Limited, the
largest Pakistani owned Tea Company, announced the 2nd Tapal
Family Mixture Makran Football Championship starting this month
in Baluchistan.
After the success of the first championship and increasing fan
following, Tapal Family Mixture announced the start of the most
awaited event in Baluchistan. The championship has been divided
into two stages, where teams from the coastal and northern
region of Baluchistan will compete against each other in matches
organized in Uthal, Gwadar, Panjgur and Turbat.
Haroon Rashid, GM Marketing Tapal Tea on this occasion said,
"Tapal has always promoted the local interests of the people and
has a strong believe in promoting the passion and tradition of
football in the region".
In first phase, qualifying round will take place in all the 4
towns where teams from across Baluchistan will participate and
only 2 qualifying teams from each pool will succeed for the
final round to be held in Turbat. The Championship is directed
towards promoting healthy sense of competition.

and played. Various activities have also been organized for the
spectators, providing them opportunities to participate in

country to participate in
Tapal Ice Tea 1st Sand Volleyball Tournament
Karachi: October 29, 2008 - Tapal Ice Tea, a brand by the
largest Pakistani owned Tea Company Tapal Tea Pvt. Ltd,
announced the 1st Tapal Ice Tea Sand Volleyball Tournament at
Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
The tournament will be the first of its kind, where volleyball
teams from various universities around Pakistan will be
competing for three days for the title. With Pakistan's sports
scenario in a gloomy state, Tapal Tea has taken the initiative
to uplift the sport of volleyball in the country.
Talking to a group of journalists, Haroon Rashid, GM Marketing
said," We want the young generation to prosper in every field of
life. Tournaments like these help develop the confidence level
of the students by providing them a platform to compete at the
national level."
The tournament will be held at LUMS University starting from
31st October to 2nd November, where teams from, LUMS (WHITE),
LUMS (BLUE), FAST ISB, FAST LHR, GIKI, IQRA, ISLAMIC, UMT and
GCU will be competing against each other in various groups.
