Cinepax celebrates 1st anniversary by giving exciting
gifts to the movie lovers

Karachi: October 16, 2008 - Cinepax, the first dedicated multiplex company of Pakistan is celebrating its 1st Anniversary on October 17th 2008. The company, in collaboration with Telenor Pakistan has organized a movie gala during the anniversary week (from Oct 17 to Oct 26) which includes new blockbuster movies with discounts, free passes, lucky draws and much more for the movie lovers.

Cinepax is committed to provide customers world class theater experience and has succeeded to a great extent by showing several top-of-the-charts movies in its first year. The cinema equipped with state-of-the-art facilities is designed according to the award winning international standards. The company has focused to revolutionize the entertainment experience for the families by bringing back the cinema culture to life.

The Movie Gala will start on 17th October, 2008 and continue till 26th October, 2008. Visitors will be offered fun stalls, lucky draws for iPods, discounts on the cinema tickets, face painting and much more.

Karachi: May 23, 2008 - Cinepax, the first nationally branded chain of multiplex cinemas in Pakistan, in collaboration with Hamara Karachi Foundation is presenting movies at the Hamara Karachi Festival.

Cinepax which started its operation with the country's first multiplex cinema in Rawalpindi is dedicated to providing world class theater experience to the public. With the launch of the 5 screen multiplex cinema, Cinepax is focused to revolutionize the entertainment experience.

"Cinema under the Stars is a complete entertainment package, targeted to amuse both children and parents, as back to back movies will be shown to the attendees of the festival", said Arif Baigmohamed, Chief Executive Officer.

The Hamara Karachi Festival has always been a source of attraction for the people. Keeping these interests of the people of Karachi in mind, Cinepax in collaboration with Hamara Karachi Foundation has organized 'Cinema under the Stars', a special treat for the people attending the festival to watch open-air movies.

Cinepax motivating real 'Tarey Zameen Par'

Islamabad: May 9, 2008 - Cinepax, first nationally branded chain of multiplex cinema in Pakistan, organized an entertainment day for the Special children of SOS Village today at Cinepax, Jinnah Park by displaying movie 'Tarey Zameen Par'.

Realizing its responsibilities towards the society, Cinepax invited Special children from SOS, to have fun and enjoyment at the cinema.

Arif Baigmohamed, CEO Cinepax Ltd said, "That's the joy we were anticipating among the children, it's a precious moment for us. We wanted to contribute in the most honorable and tough job what SOS has taken burden of. We would also appreciate Geo Films for facilitating the event".

The movie was followed by other recreational activities that enhanced the excitement and pleasure among them. The event was organized to convey the message that the children are special and they can be motivated to create a difference in the world if given due care, love and understanding.
